About Us
James J. Zebick, Jr., CPA, MBA, is an experienced finance and audit executive with leadership roles in large, complex global organizations, including Zoetis, HSBC, CIT Group, Alcatel-Lucent, IBM, Amerada Hess, and Millennium Chemicals.
He has held Senior Vice President and Director positions across Internal Audit, Controllership, Finance, and Financial Planning & Analysis. His career, grounded in public accounting experience with EY, reflects a disciplined approach to financial oversight, operational effectiveness, and risk management.
After more than 32 years in the corporate environment, Mr. Zebick founded Caress of Steel Holdings LLC, bringing his experience to a focused, advisory-driven practice.
He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of New Jersey (since 1995) and Florida, and a member of the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJCPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). He holds an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Rutgers University.
In addition to his professional work, Mr. Zebick maintains agricultural and commercial real estate interests.
He resides in New Smyrna Beach, Florida, with his wife, Katie. They are the proud parents of three daughters—Samantha, Abigail, and Kailie—and enjoy traveling, golf, motorcycle riding, and music, as well as time with their fourth “daughter,” Koda, a rescue dog.
